In this month’s denim issue, the NYLON staff rocked their favorite jeans and asked readers to readers rock their denim from sea to shining sea. A mountain of emails later, they were able to boast a gallery full of favorite denim from NYLON fans. The most popular brands of jeans were Delia’s, Forever 21, and Cheap Monday. The most represented city was Brooklyn, NY, followed by Los Angeles, CA. About a third of readers like their jeans ripped, and almost everyone rips their jeans themselves instead of buying them distressed. Even with the flood of colored denim, most still prefer regular blue jeans, although some submissions were black, pink, and bright yellow.
