With Disney’s release of the Tim Burton-directed Alice in Wonderland on March 5, 2010, Disney Consumer Products has partnered with designers Tom Binns, Sue Wong and Swarovski to create a truly unique and interpretive line that brings the mystery and charm of the movie to life. Bloomingdale’s has also decided to take a peek through the looking glass.
Disney Consumer Products and Bloomingdale’s have come together to create one-of-a-kind window displays at Bloomingdale’s flagship 59th Street store showcasing the designer pieces and props from the film. The window displays include flirty dresses by Sue Wong for Walt Disney Signature and Tom Binns for Walt Disney Signature jewelry. A long dining table set with whimsical tableware and Mad Hatter hats is also featured in the window displays. Additionally, seven other Bloomingdale’s locations will showcase behind-the-scenes and bonus footage of the movie in their stores.
