Christmas In July is in full swing – the month of press previews that sees journalists taking in freshly-developed festive ranges while sampling turkey and sprouts, usually during a heatwave – and one of our favourite previews so far comes courtesy of Biscuiteers.
The London-based biscuit-makers have introduced a new Christmas tree decoration in the shape of a Russian babuschka doll, as well as a range of edible baubles inspired by a trip to Mexico last Christmas.
The colourful, intricate decorations offer a vibrant alternative to the reds, greens and metallics that are traditional for the season, and chime with the message of new macro trend Encounter Culture, which sees consumers become world travellers with broadened horizons of many different cultures and customs.
