William “Billy” Reid is about to let you have a piece of the found objects that give this lower east side store it’s antebellum charm. For ten days beginning May 14th, the Billy Reid store at 54 Bond St. will transform the parlor section of the store into a Pop Up Shop of vintage objects from a cross-country journey taken by Ned Martel. The shop will include, sun faded t-shirts, western shirts, work boots and the kind of ephemera you always wish you could take off the walls of the Billy Reid store for your own apartment. To celebrate the pop-shop, Billy Reid will host an evening social on Thursday, May 14th from 6pm-9pm. Go get a beer and some food and finally get a piece of that vintage lifestyle you always wish was for sale.
