In honor of their “Furniture on 5” showroom, Bloomingdale’s recently held a “Big Window Challenge” inviting three interior designers to take over the main stretch of windows at the flagship’s 59th and Lexington location. The participants were allowed to create any room in the house they wanted, but had to use a three-drawer chest from the store’s exclusive Hudson Park Loft Collection. The second annual event featured designs by Bloomingdale’s chief interior designer Eileen Joyce, ApartmentTherapy.com founder Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, and lifestyle blogger and designer Eddie Ross for ELLE DECOR magazine. The windows remain up until Sunday. Click on the “Big Window Challenge” link above to read more about each window and to see who won the competition.
