BIG IDEAS | Miffy in Fashion

Children’s book character, Miffy, created by Dutch artist, Dick Bruna, in 1950 gets a 2011 makeover. From April 1st until December 31st, The Dick Bruna Huis Museum will run “Miffy in Fashion”; a host of international designers and artists have created artwork and fancy frocks in honor of the cult character. Fashion label, Clements Ribeiro (dressing Miffy as a “Tahitian Hostess”) was one among many designers that chose an ethnic-inspired look for Miffy – on trend with Stylesight’s S/S 12 Megatrend Soul.
