BIG IDEAS | Creative Play at The House

To celebrate the performance Me and My Shadow, the Sydney Opera House has introduced a Creative Play Area exclusively for kids ages four to nine. An imaginative story about a girl who befriends her shadow, Me and My Shadow is performed by the Patch Theatre Company (the show runs until April 17) and features shadow puppetry and a set crafted completely out of paper bags. Before or after the show, kids can stop by the Creative Play Area to play with their own shadow puppets, create paper bag masks and draw with chalk. (Photography by Ian MacPherson)
