Merging online shopping with personalisation and interaction, French beauty brand Codage has launched an interesting digital diagnostic tool that enables you to create your own unique product by a click of a few buttons.
Called myCODAGE, the online questionnaire proposes 23 questions ranging from skin colour, skin tone and skin type to skin sensitivity and sun exposure.
The 5 minutes questionnaire also takes into account lifestyle elements including stress levels, location for the next three months, daily work environment, the amount you smoke and drink, pollution levels and also what you want to change about your skin.
The founders – brother and sister Julien and Amandine Azencott – worked with leading industry experts to develop accurate questions in order to recommend a precise formula tailored to each individual’s skincare needs.
The company believes that you should “change your skincare like clothes” as your skin’s needs require a different serum or cream depending on the season, climate or your lifestyle.
After all the questions have been answered, the information is sent straight to the Codage Paris laboratory where they will begin creating your bespoke formula. It takes up to a week and can be delivered anywhere in the world.
The outer packaging and bottle is labelled with the individual’s initial and formula, making it a completely unique custom-made product. Furthermore, personal messages can be added onto the box.
myCODAGE by Codage Paris is available exclusively online at www.codageparis.com, with prices ranging from £100-£300. Codage also offers this bespoke service exclusively at Fenwick New Bond Street in London.
