Previously a success in Zurich, the pioneering art-meets-accomodation project The Proposal has popped up in Berlin for its sixth venture, comprising a B&B operating within a gallery space for guests to become fully immersed in. At Berlin’s Fahrbereitschaft, architectural vision is explored in Jeremie Maret’s The Tower – a mini skyscraper made of glass and complete with 360-degree views over two floors, while part of the structure has been created within the rooms of an industrial, run-down building open for overnight guests. Visitors can also view The Proposal’s past works in another room within the building. The designer then plans to build and sell these in a limited edition of eight, however at present, The Tower is merely a prototype consisting of architectural drawings of the structure itself. Catch the project before it closes on May 31. –Emily Cater
