60’s hair continues to be a trend as was evident by several retro-styles spotted on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday. Zooey Deschanel wore choppy side pieces for her voluminous ‘do. Side pieces were a 60s hair trend set by British actresses and models such as Jean Shrimpton. Nicole Ritchie’s 60s Birkin fringe and bouffant high ponytail looked polished but sassy and Michelle Williams channeled what hairstylist Chris McMillan described  as a “modern Mia Farrow-inspired style … with Flapper flair,” showing that short hair can still be glamorous.
