M/Mink is the new Eau de Parfum from Swedish fragrance house Byredo and French creative team M/M (Paris). In 2009, inspired by a block of solid ink purchased in Asia, a photograph of a Japanese calligrapher and a Utopian formula drawn on Korean traditional paper, the two groups collaborated with renowned perfumer Jerome Epineette of Robertet to translate these images into a fragrance. The result is a truly unusual and unique composition. It opens with adoxal that grows to incense with a dry-down of patchouli leaf, clover honey and amber. To promote m/mink, M/M (paris) is reusing existing images of long time collaborators and photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin to develop a series of new artwork. The fragrance will be available in October at Colette and other premium retailers.
