In what is sure to be a trend popping up across the footwear scene in spades, Nike has released the “Beaches of Rio” pack. Brazil is on everyones minds with the upcoming World Cup in 2014 and the Summer Olympics in 2016. With that, brands couldn’t ask for a more inspirational city to take cultural nods from.

“When looking for color inspiration, Nike turned to the bright clothing of the cariocas, the sand, water, exotic birds, mate carts and everything else visible at the world-renowned beaches of Brasil. The “Beaches of Rio” pack celebrates the vivid scenes along the beautiful Brasilian coast, where the very way of life is colorful.” -Nike Inc.

We can’t wait to see what else comes from this colorful inspiration source in the coming year, until then we’ll just have to keep an eye out for this collection hitting in April!
