New York: BCBG Max Azria’s show notes cited “a desire for simplicity” as an inspiration for the current collection. The clean graphic lines the designer has been playing with over the past few seasons returned, adding structure to the fluid silhouettes. Mottled texture prints in the jarring combination of purple, grey and orange added emotional depth, while the white turtleneck bodysuits that were worn with nearly every look lent a serene sense of continuity.
