After launching last year with just a few styles, British-born Baracuta is putting its revamped footwear collection front and center for S/S 11. The brand, made famous for its G9 Harrington jacket worn by Steve McQueen, Elvis Presley and James Dean, features a vast range of loafers, dress shoes and chukka boots, as well as a new sneaker offering of colorful, retro-inspired canvas styles. Under a worldwide license with Base London, which also does Gibson London men’s shoes, Baracuta footwear will range from $225 for casual and dress styles to $325 for boots. Sneakers start at $125 and go up to $135. The iconic red plaid lining of the jackets is featured heavily on each shoe as an interior pattern.
