Scott Sternberg moved away from his usual East Coast influences for S/S 10, instead inspired by the Jacques Cousteau documentary Le Monde du Silence. Bits of Malibu in the 70s also crept into the designer’s trademark disheveled schoolboy look, with dip-dyed woven shirts, knits and ties worn with broken-in chinos and contrast trim polos. Cropped blazers with madras plaid shirts provided the perfect crisp contrast to the rolled pants, washed suede boat shoes and knit beanies.
