“It’s a very sophisticated, 90s punky look. Its very strong, structured skin with a bit of contour, a glowing finish, and a very strong, matte, dark lip. The lips are going to be very dark, almost black, very deep intense purple by mixing a burgundy and a black. There’s a little definition on the eyes – like a straight eyeliner just on the corner outside of the eyes, very straight, to make the look stronger, a little rough, with mascara just on the bottom lashes. There’s no eyebrows, and for a glow-y, final touch, we’re spraying olive oil on the skin because I really it to be shiny.” – Maude Laceppe
“When i went to the hair test and saw the collection, it was very clear that the references were 80s. We wanted to take an edgier approach rather than pretty, so obviously no curls and we’re doing everything super sleek. We wanted these choppy bangs so we’re mocking that by doing this sleek undo and whipping g all the lengths forward. To get that we’re prepping the hair with a 24 hour Body Mousse on dry hair. We’re putting loads of it along the hairline and we’re drying it flat to the head with a comb. Then, we’re putting it in a ponytail to set the hair so it is very directional and stays really clean in the back. Once its in a ponytail, we spray a lot of hairspray (24 hour Finishing Hairspray) on top of the Mousse, set it really flat, snip the elastic, then twist the ponytail down down and whip it around. We’re fastening it with a little elastic to hold everything in the middle. so it has a bit of a shaved look with a choppy fringe. It’s an edgy fringe.” – Jeanie Syfu
“We’re doing three different shades on the girls, because its all about punk and pop. So we have a beautiful red, Passion (one of our most popular shades), a beautiful khaki (which is a creamy neutral), and we’re doing a pink houndstooth design which is going to look beautiful. The thing about Incoco is that its real polish in a dry form, so its really easy to apply and it contours to the fingers just like nail polish would, so it goes on very dry, no smudges and no wrinkles.” – Incoco
