“There is black liner smudged along the bottom lash line, mixed with a powder to create, not a slept in smudgy, but a deliberate smudge. It’s not too overdone, still beautiful and clean, but smudgy and effortless. On the lid, there’s moisturizer so we get that dewiness on the eyelid, but still have really matte skin. For the lip, we’re layering a new Chubby Intense shade, a very bright pink-violet color, and layering it with two eyeshadows. By layering, we get the matte lip, sort of iridescent and moonkissed.  We’re powdering it at the last minute.

The pink Chubby is a color that I’m creating with Clinique. The new Chubby Intense shades are launching in February, and then this color is a special edition for Spring. No name yet, but in the works! The hot pink is nice for spring and a great edition to the Chubby Intense lineup.” – Jenna Menard

“This season I wanted to propose a tougher look than what we usually do. So we’re going for fringes. We’re cutting fringes, really low below the eyes. We’re matching hair to every girl, we are gluing in extensions. It’s a great technique, its totally undetectable and it’s very fast. To match extensions to hair color, we’re using colored hair powder from Bumble & Bumble. Then we saturate the hair for texture with Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray and dry it all the way. We do three large braids, and flatiron the braids. When we open the braids, we get a slight wave and that beautiful texture because of the Surf Spray. So it’s going to have volume and fuzz, it’s a hard and soft look.

This is a really cool girl, that’s style conscious but doesn’t like to look overdone. She has style, but it’s effortless, it looks effortless. In this case, it’s not effortless because it’s a lot of work. It just doesn’t look like it.” – Laurent Philippon

“ The inspiration for the nail is Karen’s clothing line. This collection is about looking skyward, ‘50s optimism, the celestial. So, we’re calling this the “Milky Way” manicure. A lot of the fabrics are very sheer, transparent and soft, and Karen wanted to have a starry nail to go with this. We’re using CND Studio White, which is a soft, neutral white, softer than a bright, stark white. After two coats, we’re finishing with a super matte top coat so it’s completely mattified.” – Angi Wingle
