Take an insider’s look backstage at Ann Demeulemeester through the lens of hair colorist Berry Bachen from MAINENTRANCE Artists.

MAC Basic Black Paint Stick smudged in the corner of the eye with Tailor Gray and Camel Coat Paint Pots in the sockets created a stormy mood at Ann Demeulemeester for Fall. “She’s not perfect anymore”, said makeup maven Rudi Cremers. Lips were dabbed with the Stormy Pink Paint Pot mixed with lip balm and lashes were left bare. Eugene Souleiman explained the hairstyle, “I think the hair should not move…I think the hair should feel really heavy… add a little more of a rawness, a dirtier kind of vibe, because everything else is very light and fluid”. A mix of gel and conditioner was slathered onto large sections of hair to achieve the “nasty” look.
