Look: 1920s Victorian Meets Grunge Girl

Ronson’s Victorian-era inspiration (long hemlines and sheer fabrics) carried over into the beauty look with a healthy dose of effortless cool. Soliz used products from the new Charlotte Ronson for Sephora makeup collection. Skin was prepped with Hydroxatone Instant Effect 90 Second Wrinkle Reduce for that “glow from within” that makeup artists have been talking a lot about this season. Brown shadow was used in the eye crease to create dimension, eyeliner was drawn into the lashes and mascara was layered on. To enhance the glow, Soliz brushed on the 3xA Charm Luminizer, Blush, Bronzer to the apple of the cheeks and warmed up a rose lip color on the back of his hands before pressing into lips with his fingertips.

Syfu created a “second-day ponytail” with a Victorian-inspired, deep side-part to complement the clothing. TRESemme’s 24 Hour Body Root Boost was sprayed into hair for a lift and subtle waves were created at random with a 1.5 inch curling iron. Hair was loosely pulled back over the ears into a low ponytail at the nape and secured with elastics that she bought from a fabric store. She prefers them because they provide a tighter grip. For the final touch, hair was spritzed with some dry shampoo for an airy, tousled finish.

Originally, nails started off as red but were switched to a pink nude to complement hair and makeup. Nails were buffed into a natural square shape and polished with two coats of the neutral Color Club Pret-a-Pink.
