Backstage at Christopher Kane: Hair, Make-Up and Nails

The beauty team went backstage at Christopher Kane as it prepares for the spring/summer 2015 show.

Lead Make-up Artist Lucia Pieroni, using Nars, created a “fresh faced, iridescent and luminous” look which focused on the skin and eyes. She started with Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and Optimal Brightening concentrate mixed with Luminous Moisture Cream. The Violet Atom Multiple stick was used across the eye, top of the cheeks, cupid’s bow and on the lips for a faint iridescent sheen. Other products to finish the skin included Light Reflecting Setting Powder, Concealer Stick, and South Beach Multiple.

Guido Palau, global ambassador for Redken, created an uncomplicated hair look. Hair was parted straight down the middle of the head using the fingers for a natural look. Satinwear and Shine Flash were used to smooth down flyaways and add shine before hair was tucked back behind the ears.

Nails were demure and understated in pale pink, using Ithaque nail colour from Nars on top of Base Coat and finished with Top Coat for a glossy finish.
