Augustine Academy’s Cool Campaign

Saint Augustine Academy’s F/W 10 campaign, entitled “The Lamentations of Euchrid the Mute,” is reflective of the religious fanaticism surrounding the collection. Satirizing the Nick Cave novel And the Ass Saw the Angel, the Australian designers took the main character of the story, Euchrid Eucrow’s life as a twin who was the lone survivor at birth and grew up silent in the 1890s, as the inspiration for the photographs. Juxtaposed in a rural, swampy town setting are dapper relaxed tailored items complete with new neckwear pieces.
