The eighth edition of London’s leading international contemporary art fair takes place in Regent’s Park from October 14-17 2010.
The event sponsored by Deutsche Bank features 173 of the world’s most exciting contemporary art galleries from 29 different countries presenting new work by over 1,000 innovative artists.
Frieze Talks will see a line-up of renowned artists, filmmakers, curators and cultural commentators including Ramin Bahrani, Susan Hiller, Amar Kanwar, Bridget Riley and Wolfgang Tillmans discussing topics surrounding art and design.
Frieze Music will present two specially curated nights of music. On Friday, October 15th Hercules and Love Affair perform at Debut, one of London’s most innovative new music spaces, situated under the arches of London Bridge Station. On Saturday, October 16th Frieze Music moves to Shoreditch Church for a one-off candlelit concert from Baby Dee – a classically trained harpist and pianist – performing with The Elysian Quartet.
Frieze Film is a programme of artists’ films screened to coincide with the fair, curated by Sarah McCrory. The series includes four commissioned films as well as a curated film program shown in a specially constructed cinema outside the entrance to the fair that will be free to the public.
