Art & Design: Fashioning the Future- London Fashion Week

f2.jpg
Kingston University’s MA fashion students are preparing to unveil their latest creations in their Body Laboratory show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week.

Pushing boundaries of fashion, art, science and design, they are a new breed of hybrid designers inspired by inquiring minds and future vision. Alongside traditional pattern cutting they work to define new areas of design and materiality working with digital code as raw data and growing their own edible and wearable materials.

Spurred on by a vision of the future where fashion, technology and sustainability go hand in hand the resulting garments sit somewhere between art, architecture, fashion and product resulting in entirely new silhouettes, products and materials that will shape our future design landscape.

Vauxhall fashion scout and Body Laboratory, Freemasons Hall, Covent Garden, Friday 17th September. 5-8pm Show by invitation only.

Stylesight will be reporting from the show with exclusive access.
