Powder pinks, furry accessories and monochrome colour palettes ruled at the rainy Art Fair. WGSN Youth editor Sarah Owen shares standout looks from Miami’s Art Basel
From gallery girls to art students, a global crowd of tastemakers descended on Miami this last week bringing in a slew of sophisticated street style. Despite the unusually wet and rainy weather in Miami, soft summer hues were out in force as people had clearly packed for the normally warm weather this time of year. Furry accessories, graphic prints and powder pinks were on show, with women styling up the keys trend their way.
With around 22 satellite fairs such as Art Basel, Scope, Pulse, Design Miami, Untitled, and NADA, art week in December is saturated with stylish fashion-forward women looking to either escape the New York winter, purchase their first piece of serious art, or attend the array of off-site parties to post on their Instagram feed-the #ArtBasel hashtag currently has 700,000 posts to its name!
Enjoy this curated selection of the looks we scouted from the shows and the street.
