GET ME BODIED
London: London-based designer Antonio Berardi consistently puts out clothing that glorifies or enhances its wearer’s body. One can be confident to find at least one body-con dress in each of his collections. In addition to the body-skimming looks, Berardi presented wide-leg pants and floor-sweeping, A-line skirts this season. Aided by stiff fabrics like tweed and cloqué, the designer also created structured pieces with precise lines. Neon brights and a techy mirror-image print that mixed florals with stripes and geometric shapes harmonized with the futuristic, constructed items. A series of all-white looks, embellished with tightly-packed tiny flower appliqués made for a softer, more romantic counterpoint. –Joanna Manganaro
