London: Simple, sporty and clean. Those were the watchwords for Antipodium’s first London runway show, a slick and appealing parade of bomber jackets, slim skirts and skinny trousers. These items may be nothing new, but in creative director Geoffrey Finch’s hands they gained distinction through detailing and an icy, mineral palette. Classic bombers were coated in PVC or softened with fur sleeves; marbled t-shirts featured sheer backs, and hits of lime and sherbet orange leather freshened up camels and pastels. Leather track pants and open weave knit tops were in line with recent active trends, while even dressier ensembles, such as a matched set skirt suit or patchy fur jacket cinched with a tortoiseshell belt, projected an under-the-radar cool.—Nina Stotler
