NEW YORK…Anna Sui’s aesthetic for F/W 08 is a true mash-up of pre-Raphaelite, medievalism, and, oh, yes, the American Indians of the Pacific Northwest. A plethora of prints were shown spanning many eras and ages, that reveal Sui’s appreciation for fashion history. Deep jewel tones mixed with iridescent fabrics, lively color combinations, and Art Nouveau embroideries made her Fall collection rank among her most lively.
