An NBA Christmas to Remember

The Christmas Day games in the NBA are one of the best holiday traditions for Active Team to watch. Amidst the cooking and present unwrapping that Christmas brings to most, the NBA puts on its own special show to millions of fans – for the strict rules on footwear colors can be broken that day. This year also marks the 65th year of the tradition, special one-game-only jerseys for those 10 select teams that played on December 25th 2012.

Dubbed the “Big Color” jerseys from NBA sponsor adidas, the kits were tonal treatments in solid team colors that created a huge impact. When opposing teams were paired against each other, it made for a truly bold statement on court. We were big fans of the shake-up!

We here on the Active team hope you all had a restful break and are ready for an exciting 2013 with us. Stay tuned for a feature on the NBA (including more details on the Christmas games) in the upcoming month in the Active section of Stylesight!
