AMSTERDAM: Citizen Hip-Ulrika Lundgren

A mix of Rock ’n’ Roll chic, vintage, and quirky cool aesthetics, fashion label Rika has gained a global following with celebrity fans including Helena Christensen and Madonna. Founded by Swedish stylist Ulrika Lundgren, the Amsterdam-based label is best-known for its stylish line of star bags and chic leather jackets. The Rika emporium also encompasses a beautiful fashion and lifestyle magazine as well as the gorgeous Maison Rika guest house, located just a stone’s throw from the Amsterdam flagship boutique. On Mondays you can browse the antique stalls and fleamarket, and I love to pick up some films from the specialist art movie dealer – he always knows what I’m looking for.
