Hickey is finally finding its voice and audience, with suiting and business attire, as the younger offshoot of Hickey Freeman. Under design director Aaron Levine, the proportions are moderate in every regard. The key is tweaking and updating design details while relying on the high quality of HF’s production. Mix-matched styling and details, like a lack of linings for several of the blazers, offer a casual and functional update. The signature look remains classic, American style. In essence, shirt, trouser and tie, along with traditional 2-button jackets, some twinned with vests.
