WARRIOR PRINCESS
London: Amanda Wakeley is known for her red-carpet ready gowns, but with her tough-yet-sensual Fall collection, she proved she’s more than a one trick pony. A Japanese theme ran throughout the monochromatic-colored collection, emerging in kimono-shaped silhouettes with obi-inspired cinched waists. Black leather and sleek, minimalist details added a dangerous, mystical edge. — Shannon Davenport
