FRENCH CHIC
New York: Altuzarra named his Cruise collection “Querelle” after the Rainer Werner Fassbinder film. Here was a subtle riff on the maritime theme rendering the looks chic and feminine. Tassels provided an artisanal touch echoed throughout, from the exquisite tailored jackets, collars of dresses and finally the shoes. (Altuzarra’s first in-house collection) The lineup was completed by an irresistible group of cocktail pieces and floor sweeping dresses. – Lizzy Bowring
