Stylesight’s Graphics Team love David M. Cook’s expressive and striking collage and mixed media work. New York based Cook is a self-taught, color blind artist and illustrator. His art, which is a mix of maker pen and collage, is strongly inspired by traditional Americana and sailor tattoos, with some pop influences.
The imagery is intense, but combined with David’s sense of humor not overbearing and very creative. ‘I love the detail in things, and the humor of life – I like trying to combine these things in ways that would normally not make sense.’
