We love the Levi’s®/Opening Ceremony collabs: they represent current denim trends and are totally of-the-moment and fun, without being throw-away. Their third capsule collection was revealed last week, with a shoot by Terry Richardson and an awesome video up yesterday. The range taps into the lightweight and chambray fabric trends with great results.
Levi’s® has been building its iconic workwear shirts out of sturdy cotton chambray for over a century. For this collaboration, they reinterpreted their “blue color” roots by creating a collection that uses multiple colors of lightweight and buttery soft premium Japanese chambray. Super-light qualities are almost sheer as the product shots above reveal, and the use of chambray on the classic 505 pant block is a great men’s addition.
The collection will be available in the following Levi’s® store locations: Meatpacking, NYC; Malibu, CA; San Franciso’s Union Square flagship location; and on levi.com.
