NEW YORK…Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch is a downtown New York favorite, stocked at directional stores like Opening Ceremony. This season, set to a spoken-word soundtrack, Herchcovitch sent models out in both sleek black uniforms and sherbet hued patterns. A cocky mix of tough winter fabrics like gnarled Persian lamb and rounded dress shapes, the collection was a vibrant look at Fall 2008 with range of inspirational details and fresh silhouettes.
