Alexandre Herchcovitch

NEW YORK…Brazilian designer, Alexandre Herchcovitch showcased a couple of important concepts, print mixing and layering textures and separates. The show began with bright, embellished prints sometimes separated by black. Then moved into neutral gray and all black. Favorite directional pieces included: an extended blazer that served as a dress, black shorts paired over embellished, ruffle hemmed leggings and an asymmetrical fur jacket over a little black dress. Fun 20’s looking headbands added a chic touch as did chunky necklaces and sparkly clutches.  The layered leggings look is continuing forward, and is especially popular with juniors.
