Alexander Wang incorporates smart branding into his essentials

New York: Following on from his last collection, Alexander Wang went once again down the tough street vibe route mixing a dash of prettiness to his vigorous girl. Scalloped patterning made up with grommets adorned shorts, dresses, tops while pieces crafted in satin supported a rather feminine feel. The lineup was made of essential pieces yet with a unique Wang twist. There were rib knit tops with cut-outs and a camisole paired with a high neck jersey top showing a QR code, when scanned it will open up his e-commerce site.  A khaki trench coat came with a double buckle leather belt, satin dresses were juxtaposed with studs that had been worked via a delicate beading technique whilst a grey tracksuit sported a wide-leg A-line silhouette – all offering a unique utilitarian vibe . – Christa Kaufmann
