London: Sarah Burton designed a beautiful collection for Cruise. Using references from Matisse, traditional vintage kimonos and men’s wear fabrics, she crafted streamlined silhouettes – some with exaggerated hips. A vignette of menswear suits and dresses with embroidered flowers at the hemlines heralded the highlight of the lineup – embellishment – colored Perspex flower petals sewn around the necklines of dresses and multilayered silk flowers embroidered onto fitted organza gowns – exquisite. – Lizzy Bowring
