Paris: Agnès Troublé took a spin through the past few decades with her S/S 13 collection, all the while keeping her tone light and fresh befitting this Junior-oriented brand. Beginning with 40s berets and schoolgirl uniforms, the presentation touched lightly on bright 60s repeat patterns and matched sets before finding its footing with more recent references. These callbacks to 80s surf culture via clean photo print t-shirts looked cute and appropriate for the market, as did cardigan sets printed with edgy ‘zine covers—one of the most creative items in the collection. Troublé kept things simple in the 90s section, choosing short overalls and graphic dresses, clean basics which will look appealing to her customers come Spring.—Nina Stotler
