As the Active Team continues to sift through the increasing amount of Olympic coverage, we are super impressed when a collection transcends tired patriotic themes to a reach a first-place level of athletic taste. Opening Ceremony has delivered just that, teaming with adidas Originals for a F/W capsule collection to coincide with the Games and the perfectly timed OC Store opening in London. A gold medal move.
Available worldwide in early July through August, the collection reads at first glance as an homage to 90s swim and cycling-appropriate sportswear, remixed with that beloved OC flair. Highlighting the athletic heritage and fashion ties from the massive brand, expect the bandana-rama spotted below to be a key look this summer.
With 70 apparel pieces ranging from $75 – $360 and 20 footwear styles (including the classic Samba silhouette) within similar price points, the lookbook supplies just a snapshot of these ready-to-wear items. We can’t wait to see the entire collection that includes dry-swim spandex, neoprene, mini-floral patterns and reflective finishes — all things we are familiar with in Active!
