With all the current Occupy Wall Street-inspired turmoil happening around the globe, we can’t help but be intrigued/slightly obsessed with an editorial from this month’s WAD Magazine called “Profit Run.” Shot by French photographer Bertrand Le Pluard, there is something almost superhero-esque happening here, as these “businessmen” pile on the gear and techinical helpers from legit brands like Nike, Salomon, FRENDS, G-Shock, Go Sport, Carhartt, Eastpak by Raf Simons and Oakley. We can’t help but imagine they can scale walls and shoot lasers from their eyes. Imagine if Wall Street stiffs were equipped with that kind of power!? It would be like X-men meets Goldman Sachs. Who knows, maybe in light of recent events the “business-meets-active” trend will gain momentum. -Jeanine Pesce
