The Swedish fashion label lands in Hong Kong with a new store opening in Central this week, marking its third outlet in Asia after Japan and South Korea.
Partnered with the Hong Kong-based fashion management group I.T, the new Acne store sits on Ice House Street alongside covetable brands such as Isabel Marant, Comme Des Garcons and Maison Martin Margiela.
The store design is dominated by perforated aluminum fittings, inspired by Acne Studios’ latest retail concept as seen in Quai Voltaire in Paris and Little Bourke Street in Melbourne. The reflective material, paired with minimal merchandising, creates a sense of space and openness in this relatively small retail space.
The Hong Kong store carries men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, denim and accessories.
