TOWN AND COUNTRY
Paris: Acne has made a name for itself with relaxed cool androgynous looks. This time, however, Acne founder Jonny Johanssen took a decidedly more feminine turn for the label’s pre-fall collection and opened up a host of possibilities for the usually very downtown label in the process. Inspired by a weekend of art and culture at Lismore Castle in Ireland, the collection stayed true to country-estate appropriate classics, most notably with a white button-up shirt tucked into an elastic-waist, ankle-length full skirt. There were still plenty of offerings for Acne’s die-hards, though, most notably in the form of bejeweled denim shirts and edgy black leather pieces.
