Looking for inspiration? We’re obsessed with pattern, prints and graphics here at WGSN. But if you’ve been looking at Pinterest or your favourite blogs for too long and you are in need of some inspiration, check out these stunning images, the work of French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

While taking photographs from a hot-air balloon, Yann creates a fresh perspective of the landscape. Yann’s interpretations of these scenes are reminiscent of abstract expressionism through his use of color, texture and composition.

Inspiring photography from Yann Arthus-Bertrand

His photography is a vivid source of inspiration, as materials, surfaces and textures come to life through these images.  In the WGSN Graphics team we often look beyond fashion, drawing inspiration from art, photography, branding and graphic design before we look to street style, catwalks and tradeshows, and this is the perfect starting point.
