Le Royal Eclaireur, the long-anticipated collaboration between Le Royal Monceau and cutting-edge, luxury concept store L’Eclaireur, has finally opened its doors to the public. Inspired by one of the palace hotel’s extravagant suites, the shop features an avant garde edit of designer clothing and works of art, mixed with an impeccable selection of vintage furnishings and interactive wall displays.
Seven storefront windows invite hotel guests and passersby to discover the magic within, curated by L’Eclaireur’s founders, Martine and Armand Hadida. A focal point of the space is a luxuriously outfitted bed, above which a virtual sky opens, seemingly piercing the 7 floors of the building. There are customized closets full of luxurious clothing and a banquet table adorned with a selection of accessories. The rotating collection of designers and artists featured include Giambattista Valli, Rabih Kayrouz, Oscar de la Renta, Rick Owens, Céline, Yves Saint Laurent, Matthew Williamson, Aristide Najean, Maître Verrier, Ara Starck, Vincent Darré and Christian Astuguevieille, in addition to gorgeous frescoed walls by Fabien Verschaere.
Last but not least are the interactive wall displays that work in tandem with the in-store iPads, revealing the full L’Eclaireur collection in actual with just a swipe of the finger.
Le Royal Eclaireur strikes the balance of universes creating a distinctive destination that is at once both intimate and surreal, much like the palace it calls home.
