London: Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi created a collection for Autumn / Winter that was not far removed from the brands DNA – create clothes for everyday without constraints. This time, Thornton and Bregazzi gave the Seventies a fresh new vibe by marrying the myriad of floaty silk dresses with colourful checks and teaming them with cozy little shearling coats – pieced and patched and so right. Sweet little cropped sweaters were worn over A-line skirts, scattered with embroidered flowers over the enlarged checks. There was a blend of multi embroidered flowers – handcrafted all over – with high necks and fluted cuffs on the vintage styled dresses that gave the look a playful, flirty twist. There were even laced-up bodices, and skirts of floating tiers and ruffles that wound around the seams of trouser legs – leaving no doubt that the 70’s era had been given a fresh new take. – Lizzy Bowring
