A Life In Denim: Piero Turk
By Samuel Trotman

Piero Turk’s new Details blog is a source of great inspiration.

Dec 07, 2012

We all love denim but not many of us can claim as much denim expertise as Piero Turk. He’s been in the denim industry for decades and worked with some of the biggest names in the world including Edwin, Lee, Replay, and AG.

We blogged about Turk’s self-published book earlier this year and after catching up with him at Denim by Premiere Vision last week, we learned that he has turned the book into an online denim blog. A mixture of his personal archive of vintage denim pieces and various denim imagery, Piero Turk’s blog is purely inspirational.

His posts range from the little details that make up vintage workwear garments to early 20th century photos of miners, vintage bottle caps (great button inspiration), and Bob Dylan hanging out in denim. Piero has named the blog Details after his book, but the url reads “a life with denim”, a very apt title for such an experienced man.

Save it to your bookmarks or add to your aggregator now because this man has a great eye for denim and you’ll be sure to find some gems of inspiration!
