METROPOLITAN MARITIME New York: Andrea Lieberman’s A.L.C. grew out of her retail and styling background, and as a result is seasonally rooted in the contemporary essentials that continue to factor so centrally in her urban clients’ wardrobes. For C/R 13, Liberman set sail upon a “3-hour tour” that sacrificed no polish for portside inspiration. With a palette firmly rooted in nautical classics —navy, white, cardinal red, canary yellow, and black— the collection updated the proportions of Eastern Shore staples.
