Our editors have just returned from another inspiring edition of the DesignMiami/ and Art Basel Miami Beach fairs, and while traversing Miami’s upcoming Design District area, they stumbled across an installation by design collective Inventory exploring notions of time through food and design.

Entitled “Time”, the show was the collective’s fourth in the series since launching in 2010, and featured a number of designers that Stylesight has been following closely in recent months, including Royal College of Art graduates, Marjan van Aubel and James Shaw, as well as industrial designer Chen Chen.

Among the projects on display, Stylesight was particularly enamoured by Israeli food collective Studio Appétit’s offering, called “Elixir”, which invited guests to explore various eras throughout history in the form of intriguing and flavorful drinks.

Keep watching the site for our comprehensive coverage of this year’s DesignMiami/ and Art Basel Miami Beach shows, in which we will highlight the key themes and trends emerging from these prestigious fairs.
