New York: For Pre-fall, Diane Von Furstenberg’s artistic director Michael Herz presented a balanced collection of city-ready attire that fitted perfectly with the “hippie” influence that was seen on the S/S 15 catwalks. The sense of girly-ness was present throughout the lineup and expanded DVF’s brand codes – standout was a beautiful denim-collared lace shirtdress and a tweed coat blocked with tribal-inspired woven panels. More key pieces included – an abstract camo anorak, a patchwork chiffon maxi dress and a floral print safari suit. There were some of Diane’s iconic pieces too – wrap dresses and silk jersey wrap-around tops came in the house signature prints. A carefree and colourful presentation made for the modern girl with a rebellious spirit  – Diego Sanchez
